Rain Summit Europe @ Brussel 23rd of May

Internet radio executives from across Europe will meet in Brussels, Belgium on Thursday May 23rd for the 2nd annual RAIN Summit Europe organized by Kurt Hanson, publisher of “RAIN: Radio and Internet Newsletter” (www.kurthanson.com)

Actuonda is exclusive representative for RAIN Summits in Europe and member of the Advisory Board.

For over a decade, RAIN Summit conferences have been the premiere educational and networking events for the Internet radio and online audio industry. RAIN Summit conferences are presented several times each year in North America and feature top speakers and panelists from around the world.

RAIN Summit Europe will take place at the award-winning Hotel Bloom! in Brussels.  The pan-European conference will be a day-long event, including thought provoking panels and presentations, insightful speakers, and engaging networking opportunities. Executives from many different European countries will share thoughts and ideas on the future of radio in the digital world.

RAIN Summit Europe will feature a pan-European list of speakers who are experts on various aspects of the field of streaming radio.

“Executives from many different European countries will share thoughts and ideas on the future of radio in the digital world at RAIN Summit Europe,” said RAIN Summits president Jennifer Lane. “More speakers are being added daily.” Last year’s event, held at the nHow Hotel in Berlin, Germany, featured over three dozen speakers and attracted over 200 attendees.

"Internet radio is an extremely fast-growing field,” said Kurt Hanson.  “In some countries, Internet radio listening now comprises up to 10% of all radio listening, and it is growing at the rate of 30 - 50% per year. It’s a delivery mechanism for radio that’s able to offer wide variety, incredible depth, and even personalization. And now in 2013 it’s coming quickly into the car as well!"
